FBUS.VLCMDFILTERTIME
Description
If the drive is used in velocity mode and a fieldbus master is controlling the velocity command, the typical fieldbus cycle time is much slower than the cycle of the velocity loop of the drive. Without smoothing the fieldbus velocity command, the final calculated velocity trajectory can include steps on acceleration and deceleration phase, which introduce current peaks in the current regulator. To prevent this step creation, this velocity command filter can be used.
Default setting is zero, which disables the filter. Activate the filter by setting a value greater than zero. The filter can only be used in opmode “velocity” and command source “fieldbus”.
