VBUS.HALFVOLT
Description
This parameter changes operational voltage thresholds inside the drive to allow operation at lower voltage thresholds to operating with half of the normal input ac line voltage.
For information on voltage ratings and drive types see AKD Models.
When the VBUS.HALFVOLT value is changed, the revised thresholds take effect immediately.
Value | Description |
---|---|
0 | Standard voltage rating |
1 | Reduced voltage rating |
When changing this parameter, it impacts the following voltage-thresholds:
Drive Type AKD-xzzz06
Voltage Thresholds | VBUS.HALFVOLT Value | |
---|---|---|
0 | 1 | |
DC-bus overvoltage fault threshold (see VBUS.OVFTHRESH) | 420 VDC | 210 VDC |
Minimum undervoltage level threshold (see VBUS.UVFTHRESH) * | 90 VDC | 90 VDC |
Regeneration thresholds | 380-400 VDC | 190-200 VDC |
Drive Type AKD-xzzz07
Voltage Thresholds | VBUS.HALFVOLT Value | |
---|---|---|
0 | 1 | |
DC-bus overvoltage fault threshold (see VBUS.OVFTHRESH) | 840 VDC | 420 VDC |
Minimum undervoltage level threshold (see VBUS.UVFTHRESH) * | 380 VDC | 90 VDC |
Regeneration thresholds | 760-800 VDC | 380-400 VDC |

The DC-bus under voltage fault threshold (see VBUS.UVFTHRESH) is a user selectable command. It means that the user is responsible for setting the under voltage threshold to a proper value in case that the AKD is supplied with a lower DC-bus voltage than the rated voltage.
The regeneration thresholds describe the voltages when the drive generates regen power. The table above provides the voltage range for drive type -06 and -07. The lower voltage level is the level at which the drive starts generating regen power, the higher voltage level is the level at which the regen power is at 100%.
The inrush-relay open / close voltage thresholds are adapted automatically in relation to the minimum undervoltage threshold.

Fieldbus Information
If your drive type is listed as supported but no index, address, or instance number is listed, then this parameter is accessible through WorkBench, but not over your fieldbus type.
