EtherNet/IP Axis View

The EtherNet/IP view is only available if connected to an EtherNet/IP drive. Use this view for scaling, command mapping, and response mapping.

Scaling

Use this tab to set position units (EIP.POSUNIT) and profile units (EIP.PROFUNIT).

Motion

Use this tab to set the acceleration (EIP.ACC) and deceleration (EIP.DEC) for the velocity loop used by the next motion commanded over EtherNet/IP. Use the "Goto Motion Tasks" navigation link to define or reivew the motion tasks.

Command or Response Mapping

Use the Configure button at the bottom right corner of the Command or Response tab to map parameters. The left/right arrows move parameters into or out of the configured space. The up/down arrows sort the parameters in the configured space. If there are not enough free bytes to move a parameter into the configured space, then that item will be blocked from moving until enough space has been cleared.

Use the search bar to filter parameters. Enter a string and click the search icon.

Once complete, select OK, and the configuration will be displayed in the tab. The value in the drive and the EIP Value are refreshed every second.


  • When using an offline drive, the Value and EIP Value rows will not display actual drive or EIP values.
