FunctionClosed A function calculates a result according to the current value of its inputs. A function has no internal data and is not linked to declared instances. - EnableClosed Enable signal for the drive, Hardware-Enable with 24V signal to X8, Software-Enable command by setup Software, fieldbus or permanently set. Both are required for enabling the drive. or disableClosed Removal of the ENABLE signal. Disables power stage. the production of events for binding (runtimeClosed In computer science, runtime (or run-time) describes the operation of a computer program, the duration of its execution, from beginning to termination (compare compile time). In KAS, runtime refers to the virtual machine that manage the program written in a computer language while it is running. to runtime variable exchange).

FBD Language Example

FFLD Language Example

  • The input rung (EN) enables the event production.
    • The output rung keeps the state of the input rung.
    • Events are enables if EN is TRUE.
    • ENO has the same value as EN.

Op1: LDClosed Ladder diagram - This is a method of drawing electrical logic schematics. It is a very popular graphical language for programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). It was originally invented to describe logic made from relays. The name is based on the observation that programs in this language resemble ladders, with two vertical rails and a series of horizontal rungs between them.  EN
