AKD firmware v01-22-00-000 and later support the "ND" central power supply.

KAS IDEClosed "Integrated development environment" An integrated development environment is a type of computer software that assists computer programmers in developing software. IDEs normally consist of a source code editor, a compiler and/or interpreter, build-automation tools, and a debugger v4.00 and later are compatible.

Kollmorgen recommends using v4.00 and later because the features available in AKD firmware v01-22 are integrated with and supported by KAS IDE v4.00.

The MKD-C “ND” support was introduced in KAS IDE v4.00 with AKD firmware v01-22.

Previous MKD-C central power supplies are not supported.

The AKD firmware and KAS firmware packages are available in the downloads section of Kollmorgen website.

Previous models are not supported and should not be swapped with the “ND” model.
