SAFE.CHANGEPASSWORD
Description
Change or create the password used for safety parameters operation. The master password remains unchanged and valid. The password must be at least 8 characters long but not more than 25 characters. This password cannot be retrieved if lost but the master password can be used to reset it.

The master password is SafeMotionMonitorXXX where XXX are the last 3 digits of the drive serial number. |
Usage
SAFE.CHANGEPASSWORD <new_password> <confirmation_password>
All parameters are mandatory. The drive will return an error if:
- Not enough parameters are provided .
- Too much parameters are provided .
- At least one of the parameter is out of range.
- The confirmation password is not valid (error returned by the SMM)

The password strings cannot contain any spaces. |
