Project Groups

Groups may be freely added to customize your machine structure. To add a group:

Select the parent node (the project or another group)
Click Add New Group...

The group name may be edited in the Group properties view. You can freely define the structure to your personal organizational needs, it is usually not dependent on the physical hardware.

The group structure in the Motion tree is different than the group structure in the Safety tree. In the Motion context the structure may be freely defined to the user's convenience with any number of nested group levels. At the safety level only one group level is allowed, which is a technical limitation introduced by a third-party component.
