Kollmorgen Essentials Motor Shaft Seal Kit - Seal Removal

1. Use an insulated, flat-head screw driver on the inside diameter of the shaft seal outer lip.
2. Carefully work around the seal, prying slowly until the seal can be grasped by hand and removed. (Figure 1)
   This may require gentle twisting of the seal out of the motor bore.

Do not pry against the front endbell or shaft. This could cause potential damage to these components.
