Analog Input
If the drive command source is set to analog, then the analog input to the drive supplies the current or velocity command to the control loops of the drive. The default analog input screen displays a summary block diagram of the analog input. Double-click on a block in the diagram to change its value.
The following blocks can be configured on this diagram:
Block |
Description |
Parameter |
---|---|---|
Low Pass Filter Configuration |
Sets the analog input low-pass filter cutoff frequency. |
|
Offset Configuration |
The value added to the analog input command to the drive. This value compensates for the analog input signal (AIN#.VALUE) offset or drift. |
|
Deadband Configuration |
The threshold for the deadband. This parameter is commonly used to reduce noise while the drive is stationary. |
The diagram also indicates whether the Analog Input is configured to trigger an action in the Action Table. If it is not configured, it will report "Not Used."
Scaling
Scaling of analog inputs can be configured from the source tabs of the related loop (current/velocity/position).
Loop | Scaling Parameter |
---|---|
Current Loop | AXIS#.IL.AINSCALE |
Velocity Loop | AXIS#.VL.AINSCALE |
Position Loop | AXIS#.PL.AINSCALE |
