Object 1C12h: RxPDO assign (DS301)
This object is used to define the mapping for receive direction of EtherCATEtherCAT is an open, high-performance Ethernet-based fieldbus system. The development goal of EtherCAT was to apply Ethernet to automation applications which require short data update times (also called cycle times) with low communication jitter (for synchronization purposes) and low hardware costs data. Either one of the fixed RxPDO mappings 1701h to 1725h is chosen or 1 to 4 of the free mappings 1600h to 1603h.
