General Specification

The analog input terminals process signals in the range between 0 and 20 mA. The current is digitised to a resolution of 12 bits and is transmitted, in an electrically isolated form, to the higher-level automation device. In the 4-channel Bus Terminal, the four inputs are 2-wire versions and have a common ground potential. The reference ground of the inputs is the internal ground. The 8-channel variant combines all eight channels in one housing and is particularly suitable for space-saving installation in control cabinets. The use of single conductor connection technology enables the connection of multi-channel sensorClosedA sensor is a type of transducer that converts one type of energy into another for various purposes including measurement or information transfer technology with minimum space requirements. The reference ground for all inputs is the 0 V power contact. In both Bus Terminals the power contacts are connected through. Overload is detected in both variants. The terminal status is relayed to the controller via the Standard Bus. The LEDs indicate the data exchange with the Bus Coupler as well as overload or wire breakage.
