VBUS.THREEPHASE
Description
This parameter indicates whether the AC line input is single or three phase, and whether phase loss detection is active.
-
- Setting this parameter to 1/0 can enable/disable “phase loss” detection, but it will not disable “power loss” detection.
“Power loss” condition is the condition where there is a sudden drop in the AC mains voltage. If this condition occurs, Fault 2014: AC input phase loss gets detected, inrush relay is opened, and the user must wait until VBUS.VALUE drops below VBUS.INRUSHOFF to clear the fault.
This mechanism is designed to protect the drive and fuse against potential damages due to sudden drops in the AC mains voltage.
Examples
Usage
If the parameter is set to 0, the drive assumes that the AC line input is single phase, and phase loss detection is turned off.
If the parameter is set to 1, the drive assumes that the AC line input is three phase, and phase loss detection is turned on. If the drive detects a phase loss condition and an axis is enabled, it throws Fault 2014: AC input phase loss on each axis.
Code
--> VBUS.THREEPHASE 1 --> DRV.FAULTS 1-2014: AC input phase loss. 2-2014: AC input phase loss. --> VBUS.THREEPHASE 0 --> DRV.FAULTS No faults active
