WorkBench 2 in the KAS IDE
WorkBench 2 views are integrated into the KAS IDE"Integrated development environment" An integrated development environment is a type of computer software that assists computer programmers in developing software. IDEs normally consist of a source code editor, a compiler and/or interpreter, build-automation tools, and a debugger, and are accessible from the AKD or AKD2G drive's Configuration tab when the controller is started, or in Online Configuration mode. AKD and AKD2G device views may be different than each other as the devices have differing capabilities.

To save resources and minimize the time it takes to open a project, the state of AKD views is not saved. Views need to be opened each time a project is opened.
