AXIS#.MOTOR.TEMPSOURCE
Description
This parameter selects the connector used for the motor temperature measurement when the axis motor control algorithm does not use a position feedback (when AXIS#.MOTOR.TYPE
= 2 or 10). The temperature sensor
A sensor is a type of transducer that converts one type of energy into another for various purposes including measurement or information transfer is a thermal resistor connected to the drive through a 2-wire input. The type of thermal resistor is set with AXIS#.MOTOR.RTYPE.
The range of available AXIS#.MOTOR.TEMPSOURCE values are determined by the set of drive connectors. The connectors that support temperature measurements are full 15-wire connectors (X23) and Smart Feedback Adapter (SFA) devices (X1 and X2 with SFA).
When AXIS#.MOTOR.TYPE is not 2 or 10, AXIS#.MOTOR.TEMPSOURCE is not used.
