VBUS.DCNOMINAL
Description
This command configures the operating DC voltage for a level other than the default of the drive.
The default nominal DC voltage is the default nominal AC voltage times square root of two.
-
- The drive can be derated but do not operate it higher than the original nominal DC voltage.
-
When changed, VBUS.DCNOMINAL modifies the inrush voltage settings and the regen voltage configurations. It is important that VBUS.DCNOMINAL be set as accurately as possible to minimize voltage faults.
VBUS.DCNOMINAL and VBUS.ACNOMINAL commands are interdependent and changing the value of one will change the value of other.
VBUS.DCOPERATION determines whether AC or DC mains is being used.
Examples
If an HV drive (480Vrms) was needed for bench testing using a DC source of 170Vdc (rectified 120Vrms), do the following:
VBUS.DCOPERATION | 1 |
VBUS.DCNOMINAL | 170 |
