Kollmorgen Studio

Kollmorgen Studio is a software program used for the configuration and diagnostic of Kollmorgen drives. Studio simplifies the process of setting all the operating parameters for the drives and application. The software integrates a digital oscilloscope, allowing you to monitor and instantaneously sample parameters of the motion profile used in motor control. Studio also has functionality dedicated to DS402 profiles and related functions. The connection between the PC and the drive can be made via the dedicated Serial Interface with a specific Kollmorgen cable.

Using Kollmorgen Studio is optional. It can make setting up and parametrizing easier than your EtherCAT master, but ultimately everything can be done in the EtherCAT master.
