AXIS#.MOTOR.VOLTMAX
Description
This parameter is the rated nominal operating voltage for the motor insulation system in Vrmsrms stands for root mean square (also known as the quadratic mean).
This value also sets regen resistor and over voltage thresholds in the drive to acceptable values for the motor so that the motor windings are not damaged. Since AXIS#.MOTOR.VOLTMAX is specified as nominal RMS Voltage, the drive will fault if the DC bus VBUS.VALUE exceeds 2x AXIS#.MOTOR.VOLTMAX which provides sufficient margin to be safe and to prevent false trips.
-
-
This parameter is automatically configured for Kollmorgen motors when AXIS#.MOTOR.AUTOSET = 1 and motor memory version is 0.2 or greater.
-
-
This parameter is required to be configured for AXIS#.MOTOR.TYPE = 6, 8.

Fieldbus Information
FieldbusA Fieldbus is an industrial network system for real-time distributed control (e.g. CAN or Profibus). It is a way of connecting instruments in a plant design | Parameter | Index | Sub-Index | Data Type | Float Scale | Units | Access | PDOPDO is a type of protocol frame used in some fieldbuses. A PDO contains one or more object dictionary entries, which define the application data transferred between devices. Mappable |

The development goal of EtherCAT was to apply Ethernet to automation applications which require short data update times (also called cycle times) with low communication jitter (for synchronization purposes) and low hardware costs COE and CANopen | AXIS1.MOTOR.VOLTMAX | 0x500B | 0x20 | UINT | - | - | RW | False |
