AKD PDMM and PCMM Hardware
The AKD PDMM comprises of three printed circuit boards (PCB "Printed Circuit Board" A PCB is used to mechanically support and electrically connect electronic components using conductive pathways, tracks or signal traces etched from copper sheets laminated onto a non-conductive substrate) while the PCMM comprises of one.
- Power board (AKD PDMM only)
- AKD control card (AKD PDMM only)
- AKD PDMM and PCMM option card, available in two variants:
AKD PDMM - NXP/Freescale QorIQ Brand of microcontrollers from Freescale. It is the evolutionary step from the PowerQUICC platform and comes in five different product platforms, P1, P2, P3, P4 and P5, segmented by performance and functionality. The platform keeps software compatibility with older PowerPC products such as the PowerQUICC platform. P1011 processor (800MHz)
- NXP/Freescale QorIQ P2010 processor (1.2GHz)
PCMM - NXP/Freescale QorIQ P2010 processor (1.2GHz)
- NXP/Freescale QorIQ P2020 processor (Dual Core 1.2GHz)
