DIO.STATES

Description

DIO.STATES reads the states of the bi-directional IOs. Each bit corresponds to a digital state. Bit 0 = DIO1 ... Bit 5 = DIO6.

Examples

Usage

When DIO1 and DIO3 are active (DIO#.STATE = 1). Bits 0 and 2 would be set. DIO.STATES would be 5.

Fieldbus Information

FieldbusClosed A Fieldbus is an industrial network system for real-time distributed control (e.g. CAN or Profibus). It is a way of connecting instruments in a plant design EtherCATClosed ***EtherCAT is an open, high-performance Ethernet-based fieldbus system. The development goal of EtherCAT was to apply Ethernet to automation applications which require short data update times (also called cycle times) with low communication jitter (for synchronization purposes) and low hardware costs COE and CANopen
