FB1.USERDWORD0 to FB1.USERDWORD1

Description

FB1.USERBYTE, FB1.USERWORD, and FB1.USERDWORD share two 32 bit words in an EnDat or HIPERFACE feedback deviceClosed A process whereby some proportion of the output signal of a system is passed (fed back) to the input. In automation, a device coupled to each motor to provide indication of the motor's shaft angle, for use in commutating the motor and controlling its speed and position. These three parameters offer different ways to store and access the data stored in these two 32 bit words. The table below defines each parameters function. The values are automatically stored non-volatile in the feedback device.

Parameter Bits Attributes
FB1.USERBYTE0 to FB1.USERBYTE7 8 bit signed or unsigned char
FB1.USERWORD0 to FB1.USERWORD3 16 bit signed or unsigned short
FB1.USERDWORD0 to FB1.USERDWORD1 32 bit singed or unsigned int

The parameters overlap each other in the following way:

BYTE0 BYTE1 BYTE2 BYTE3 BYTE4 BYTE5 BYTE6 BYT7
WORD0 WORD1 WORD2 WORD3
DWORD0 DWORD1

For example, if BYTE1 is modified, WORD0 and DWORD0 are modified as well.
