Variable Monitoring

The Variable Dictionary contains all the IEC "International Electrotechnical Commission" IEC is a not-for-profit, non-governmental international standards organization that prepares and publishes International Standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies 61131-3 variables needed by the application. The variables are listed by categories corresponding to the declared programs, functions and function blocks.

When your application is running:

• all variables in the Dictionary are animated 1 To better track variables and expressions of the PLC programs in Test mode, the KAS-IDE dynamically computes their value along with the program execution and display the result in gray boxes beside their usage in the instruction lines of the IEC 61131-3 editor. with real-time values displayed in the Value column (see call out )
• a specific column is used to indicate the initial values of all variables
