Create Variables

Variables may be created in either of two ways:

• From the Variables tab of the Dictionary. Clicking Add Variable opens the Create Variable dialog box.
• From the program Editor. Below we see examples of the FBD (click on the Variable button) and FFLD (double-click on the in or out pins of the function) Editors. Enter a name and click OK to open a dialog box that allows you to define the variable.
