Move or Copy FBD Objects

Click the Selection Mode button or press <Esc> before selecting objects.

The FBD editor supports drag-and-drop for moving or copying objects.

• To move objects, select and drag them to the desired position.
• To copy objects, press <Ctrl> while dragging.
  • It is also possible to drag pieces of diagrams from one program to another if both are open and visible on the screen.
• At any time while dragging objects, press <Esc> to cancel the operation.
• Use the Copy / Cut / Paste commands from the Edit menu.
  • When you run the Paste command, the editor changes into Paste mode, with a special mouse cursor.
  • Click in the diagram and move the mouse cursor to the desired position for inserting pasted objects.

Move Objects

When graphic objects are selected, press these keys to move them in the diagram:

Keys	Description
<Shift + Up>	Move to the top.
<Shift + Down>	Move to the bottom.
<Shift + Left>	Move to left.
<Shift + Right>	Move to right.

Extend Object Selection

When an object is selected, press these keys to extend the selection:

Keys	Description
<Shift + Control + Home>	Extend to the top: select all objects before the selected object.
<Shift + Control + End>	Extend to the bottom: select all objects after the selected object.

Insert or Delete Space

To insert or delete space in the diagram:

1. Select an object.
2. Press <Shift+Ctrl+End> to extend the selection.
3. Move selected objects up or down.

Auto-alignment

When objects are selected, press these keys to automatically align them:

Keys	Description
<Control + Up>	To the top.
<Control + Down>	To the bottom.
<Control + Left>	To left.
<Control + Right>	To right.
