Appendix B – Display Status

The 7 segments drive (only for drives fitted with it) display can have the following statuses:

Display Status	Description
L	Drive in boot mode. A new firmware should be downloaded to drive.
U	Firmware update in progress. Do not power off the drive until the update process is complete!
I	Initialization: Drive executing the start-up procedure (may take a few seconds after the start-up procedure has begun)
S	Fixed Character = Properly Functioning. No error Blinking Character = Enable OFF, current zero
S+1	Warning: DC Bus Voltage near limit (overvoltage or undervoltage)
S+3	Warning: Drive Temperature near maximum value (over temperature)
S+7	Warning: EEprom near Write Overrun
S+8	Warning: EEprom near End of Life
F+0	Error: Security intervention of watchdog
F+1	Error: Internal software error
F+2	Error: Missing calibration values
F+4	Error: EEPROM fail
F+6	Error: Kollmorgen Space Application error (end of program execution, division by zero, etc.)
F+7	Error: EEprom Write Overrun
F+U	Error: Feature Unavailable (the application tried to use a feature (for instance the CAM Module) that is not available in the current drive configuration
P+0	Protection: Motor is in open phase condition
P+1	Protection: Overvoltage or Undervoltage
P+2	Protection: Over current on the motor output
P+3	Protection: Over temperature of the drive
P+5	Protection: Missing Torque Enable (“Missing Safe Torque Off”)
P+6	Protection: Drive Over Power Protection and/or Current Regulation out of range
P+7	Protection: Kollmorgen Software User Protection (generated by setting bit #0 of Kollmorgen_User_Settings)
P9	Protection: Motor feedback error
