Boolean Operators

The Boolean Operators perform operations according to boolean logic.

BOOL Instruction

The BOOL Instruction can perform one of the following operations on a User Variable or Drive Object:

• Logical AND

• Logical OR

• Logical Shift Right

• Logical Shift Left

The result of the boolean operation can be stored in a User Variable or Drive Object.

The parameter of the boolean operation (value of the AND/OR operation or the number of shifts) can also be a numerical constant.
