This .IMG file contains the Operating System (OS) and the KAS
Kollmorgen Automation Suite Runtime In computer science, runtime (or run-time) describes the operation of a computer program, the duration of its execution, from beginning to termination (compare compile time).
In KAS, runtime refers to the virtual machine that manage the program written in a computer language while it is running. (RT) software.
Usage
The contents of this .IMG file are used to update the AKD PDMM and PCMM from the web server interface.
