SFA#.UPDATE
Description
This keyword updates the selected SFA to the latest firmware version that is packaged with the currently installed drive firmware. The command will only be executed when no axis is enabled. At the end of the update process, homing for the axis connected to the SFA feedback device
A process whereby some proportion of the output signal of a system is passed (fed back) to the input.
In automation, a device coupled to each motor to provide indication of the motor's shaft angle, for use in commutating the motor and controlling its speed and position will be restored or cleared based on the same homing settings when the drive is power-cycled (please see the Homing The Homing procedure allows, based on a position measurement, to set a position offset to the motor in order to ensure it is physically at the home position section Retain Homing During Power Cycle).
