  • Position of the first character of STR in IN.
  • Returns 0 (zero) if not found.

Remarks

  • The first valid character position is 1.
  • The search is case sensitive.
  • The return value can be used with other string functions (e.g., mid or right).

  • In the FFLD Language, the operation is executed only if the input rung (EN) is TRUE.
    • The output rung (ENO) keeps the same value as the input rung.
    • The function is executed only if EN is TRUE.
    • ENO keeps the same value as EN.

    • The second argument is the operand of the function.
