Power View

From the Power screen, you can view and configure the drive power settings as follows.

The MKD-C displays an overview of power for all devices, while the MKD-N displays power only for that device.

Input Input Mains Sets whether the mains input is DC or AC. VBUS.DCOPERATION
Nominal AC Line Sets the operating voltage of the drive. VBUS.ACNOMINAL  
AC Line Phases Sets whether the AC line input to the DC bus is single or three phase, and whether phase loss detection is active. VBUS.THREEPHASE  
Input Input Mains Sets whether the mains input is DC or AC.   VBUS.DCOPERATION
Operating Voltage Used to change voltage thresholds, allowing -07 drive types to work at a -06 drive's voltage threshold.   VBUS.HALFVOLT
DC-Bus Share Precharge Timeout Sets a timeout for the MKD-C's precharge process.   VBUS.PRECHARGETO
Output Voltage - Disable Mode (All Strings Tab) Used to keep drives connected to MKD-C enabled, even when the MKD-C loses its high voltage supply.   STRINGS.DISMODE

Operating Voltage

Operating voltage can be selected by the user to allow 480VAC drives to work on 240VAC input supplies.

The VBUS.ACNOMINAL parameter has an effect on the following voltage-thresholds:

  1. DC-bus over-voltage threshold (see VBUS.OVFTHRESH).
  2. The regen-resistor enable/disable voltage thresholds.
  3. The inrush-relay enable/disable voltage thresholds.

A power-cycle is needed after changing the value and saving the parameter on the NV memory of the Drive, since the voltage thresholds mentioned above are read during the boot-sequence of the drive.
