SAFE.STATE

Description

SAFE.STATE indicates the current state of the SMM. It's accessible through telnet and through CoE (Index: 0x37C1, SubIndex: 0). The possible values of SAFE.STATE are:

Value	Name	Description
0, 16...254	Invalid	Reserved.
1	Start-up	The SMM is starting up. This will be present, while the connection to the safe fieldbus starts up.
2	SafeID not validated	SafeID is not validated or invalid. Validation process required.
3	Configuration required	A new configuration is required. The configuration of the SMM may be broken.
4	Configuration invalid	The last configuration is invalid and new configuration is required.
5	Parameter validation required	Safety parameters are not validated.
6	Normal operation	The SMM is working normally. In this state, STO or the brake may be active.
7	Safe brake test	A brake test is occurring. The test will be triggered by the drive processor. This state is activated for the complete device, even though only a single axis is tested.
8	IO Failure	The SMM detected a fault that may be acknowledged. During this state STO and the brakes will be active.
9	Internal Failure	Some catastrophic failure occurred. The SMM does not release operation until it was power cycled.
