Menus and Toolbar Overview

Menus

The KAS-IDE "Integrated development environment" An integrated development environment is a type of computer software that assists computer programmers in developing software. IDEs normally consist of a source code editor, a compiler and/or interpreter, build-automation tools, and a debugger contains these menus:

• File menu
• Edit menu
• Tools menu
• Window menu
• Help menu

Toolbars

These are the KAS-IDE toolbars:

1. Main Toolbar
2. Device Toolbar
3. EtherCAT Toolbar
4. Online Change Toolbar
5. Debug toolbar
6. Links to the Help and Kollmorgen Developer Network (KDN).

A specific toolbar is also available for the AKD Drive.
